Your next clinical research career step. The pandemic has had a big impact on businesses everywhere, and economies will take time to recover. With a positive outlook for the coming year, we are getting ready for trials to restart and business to accelerate; that includes making sure the Siron Clinical team is complete.
This is an uncertain time for a lot of people. Because of the impact of the pandemic on businesses in many industries, unemployment increased globally in the spring of 2020 and has remained higher than usual. After several months of rising unemployment in the Netherlands, there was a decrease in September, suggesting economic recovery.
Like many other businesses in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, Siron Clinical has of course been affected. We have written in previous blog posts about how to manage a clinical trial during the pandemic, and how to prepare for what comes next. For us, an important part of the preparation is to ensure our team of experts is complete.
Experience is Key to Success
As a trusted CRO, our knowledge and experience are extensive, and it comes from our dedicated team. Our Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) each have more than 10 years’ experience in clinical research across a variety of indications, and this is a key driver of our success with clinical trials.
We currently have an open vacancy in the Netherlands for a Senior Clinical Research Associate/Clinical Trial Manager. We are looking for a knowledgeable, organized problem solver who has at least five years’ experience in monitoring and conducting clinical research.
An exciting clinical research role for a successful clinical research career
It is an exciting, varied role that requires strong interpersonal skills and extensive knowledge of clinical trials and the regulations. The role involves working independently on more complex clinical research projects according to Siron Clinical and/or Sponsor Standard Operating Procedures, ICH-GCP, FDA and other applicable guidelines.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility, pre-study and initiation visits and all aspects of study site management, including routine monitoring and close-out of clinical sites. They will also be in charge of maintaining study files, liaising with sponsors and vendors and for all aspects of site management.
The Senior CRA/CTM will work within a strong team managing trials around the world. One of our newest team members, Clinical Trial Manager Maja Armitage, joined in March. She explained what brought her to the role: “What was attractive was the diversity of the role, and the ability to work in a team but also keep ownership and responsibility.”
Thinking About a Positive Future
The candidate will also be working with Siron Clinical’s leadership team – a group of highly experienced and motivated experts who are committed to taking Siron Clinical into a successful 2021.
We are all looking back at a challenging year, and at Siron Clinical, we are looking ahead to a much more positive one. We want to ensure our team can continue to support companies around the world as they (re)start their clinical trials; as such, we’re recruiting for when times get better.
